Dr Stuart Kewley is President and Provost of UBIS and has more than 30 years of experience in higher education leadership. A University of Cambridge graduate and former Director of Studies at the University of Oxford, he works on curriculum design, international partnerships and regulatory frameworks across Europe, Asia, the US and the Middle East. Before joining UBIS, he was Senior Vice President of Partnerships and International Development at IDM Education Group.

Dr James Booker teaches in UBIS's doctoral programs. He moved into higher education after more than 20 years in local and state government, later becoming Graduate and Online Dean at the University of the Potomac and holding senior academic leadership roles at the University of Phoenix. He holds a PhD in Educational Leadership from Capella University.

Dr Antonina Santalova is a University of Oxford graduate whose work covers social policy, higher education and international development. She has more than 20 years of experience, including teaching across Europe and Central Asia and contributing to national education policy and large-scale development initiatives. She previously directed the DBA and founded the Research Institute at UBIS. She is Academic Dean at Glion Institute of Higher Education.

Dr Larry Adams has more than 25 years of experience in higher education and corporate leadership. He is Vice Chancellor of the Institute of Knowledge Academia in Sri Lanka and Associate Dean at BMS Business Management School. His previous roles include Deputy Vice Chancellor, Group CEO and Country Head of Xerox Sri Lanka. He studied in Asia, North America and the UK; his work covers business administration, leadership and interdisciplinary research, with an Asian perspective.

Dr Lenora Spicer researches the history and advancement of African American women in academic leadership, including management and diversity practices that affect minority women's representation in senior roles. She has more than 17 years of experience in faculty and senior administrative positions and is Director of Education at Southern Careers Institute. She holds a PhD in Management from Colorado Technical University.

Dr Hiba Ewaiwi is an adjunct faculty member at UBIS, where she earned her DBA. She has more than a decade of experience in education, organisational development and international development. Her work covers curriculum design, strategic planning, people operations and institutional growth, alongside communication, entrepreneurship and change leadership.

Professor Kalani Rice has more than 20 years of industry and academic leadership experience. She is a Program Manager at Arizona State University and previously held senior roles at Zenith Education and Everest College Phoenix. She holds an MBA in Human Resource Management and an MA in Education.

Naiara Rodriguez-Pena is a postdoctoral researcher who studies unfulfilled migration aspirations and their effects on individuals, families and societies. Her research examines the relationship between migration and development, including how aspirations and capabilities interact with social and political change. She received the IMISCOE 2023 Rinus Penninx Best Paper Award and the APSA 2024 Best Dissertation Award on Migration and Integration.

Professor Anneke Edmonds founded AI Compliance, Inc., where she leads the development of audit tools for regulatory, technical and reputational risks in the USA, EU and UK. Her research and practice cover women entrepreneurs, women in STEM and experiential learning for technology start-ups. Through her consultancy, Inbound Marketing, she advises SMEs on marketing strategy, brand positioning and market research across technology, higher education and the creative industries.

Dr Femina Syed is Head of the Research Institute at UBIS and holds a PhD in Management. She has more than 21 years of experience in teaching, training and research in business and management. Her specialisms include HR analytics, organisational behaviour, ambidexterity and innovation. Her research includes publications in indexed journals and international conferences.

Dr Tapati Sarmah Choudhury is a UBIS faculty member whose academic work covers business law and entrepreneurship. She holds a PhD from Dibrugarh University.

Dr Elisa Forestan Barnes researches educational inequality, education policy and digital approaches to teaching and learning. She holds a DPhil in Sociology from the University of Oxford and advanced degrees in research methods and education technology from the University of Reading and University College London. Her work includes learning analytics, digital innovation, student engagement and retention in higher education.

Cole McEuen is a CPA and Senior Internal Auditor at Axon. His professional experience covers financial accounting, auditing and internal controls at a publicly listed S&P 500 company. He teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in accounting, finance, economics, business and marketing at UBIS and holds a Master of Accountancy from Utah Valley University.
